Throughout many Egyptian temples you'll find statues of Anubis- the god of embalming as well as the god who helped you to safely reach the afterlife. I painted this beautiful painting in honor of these statues; here you will find a wonderful black statue of Anubis with gold trim sitting atop a specially carved golden mastaba-type box complete with carved hieroglyphs along the sides & a beautiful burgundy pylon complete with 3 sets of Lotus leaves.
